This is the child you were. Or the one you wanted to be. Or maybe the one you lost along the way.

Stolen Potential is the first piece in my Rainbow Girls series—my painted love letter to every stage of becoming a woman in a world that teaches girls to be small, quiet, nice, obedient. The girl in this print doesn’t have a face because she could be anyone—me, you, your daughter, your inner child. She's holding lavender with reverence. And grief. And grace.

The colors are loud because the silence was louder.
